Youth programs

Somalia’s youth are estimated to make up more than 75% of Somalia’s population. The youth is the potential force of the community and it is that force that could be used to be a leading beacon in order to make all peace initiatives. Hayaan Institute has launched youth-related programs, especially on how young people can be part of peacebuilding, and how to avoid all forms of violence.

Safarka nabadda, peace journey is a youth-related project which gives young a platform where they discuss the role of young in the prevention of conflict and peacebuilding, these project including training youth peace ambassadors, public forum discussion, and also a radio program.
