Policy Areas

At Hayaan we develop training courses and guidance documents and provide consultations with in-house experts to ensure that our policy analysts always recommend best practices to implement policies, using the most up-to-date and rigorous approaches. To supplement this, the institute arranges talks and seminars by expert and innovative policy methodologists from both within and outside Hayaan.

We have the expertise to assess the impact of changes in national policies in relation to health, education, water sanitation, gender, and environmental policies. Moreover, we are concerned that, wherever possible, all our policies not only tackle the specific target area but are developed with awareness of their implications for social equity, conflict reduction and peace promotion.

The centre can also provide guidance for government institutions, donors and private/not-for-profit organizations by developing and implementing realistic policy plans as a means to ensure the success of effective sustainable programmes.
